Theater play with Thuringian Symphony Orchestra Saalfeld, at Schiller Theater, Rudolstadt, 2026
Fate or free will, rebellion or forgiveness, dream or reality? The Spanish author Calderón de la Barca explores these weighty themes in his grand verse drama. King Basilius is warned by a prophecy that his son Sigismund will become a murderer. He therefore keeps the prince isolated for years. But doubts arise. He tests Sigismund by making him king for a day. If he rules justly, he stays; if not, he will be drugged and convinced that power was only a dream. Sigismund becomes the predicted tyrant. Yet the people already love him as their rightful ruler and start a violent uprising. Then the story takes a surprising turn.

Interactive installation live at Kontakte Festival 2025
Akademie der Künste, Berlin, 2025
Prototype_2 interrogates the symbiotic relationship between humans and machines, exploring the sonic and visual intersections that define our daily interactions with technology.
The auditory component of the installation comprises processed field recordings of car engines, trains, electronic kitchen appliances, and other day-to-day devices transformed into evolving soundscapes.
This immersive environment invites participants to engage as both observers and active collaborators in shaping the work.
Prototype_2 emerged from conversations between Matias and Aljoscha about their own artistic practice and connection to technology. These discussions sparked a curiosity to explore how others interact with machines, ultimately shaping the concept behind the installation.
